Don't cry over spilled milk

Know that saying? Well, this time I think I will.

KEY PLAYERS: Computer, stupid parent, Tyson, and half empty glass of milk.

Can anybody guess what happens next? Yes, it's true, Tyson knocked over the milk all over our keyboard. Now, it isn't working and we can't log into our computer until we get a new one. I am doing this post from my aunt's laptop. Quelle bummer.

So, I might be missing from the blog world until we get a new keyboard from Apple. And, we are going to San Antonio next week, so it might even be longer. Hope you guys don't miss me too much.

I can't believe how attached I am to my dang computer. I am seriously having withdrawals. I am getting all shaky and everything! (jk)

P.S. Meggie, (my cousin) is taking me to Braun Books to cheer me up since I can't do any online shopping. Thanks scuz- short for scousin (sister-cousin)

A new way to be crafty

Last week, my friend Lisa taught a bunch of us how to make necklaces and earrings. She has made some cute stuff and I was excited to learn how. Afterwards, I made my way to Roberts (let's just say my car can practically drive itself there) and bought the necessary goods to make more of my own. Here's what I have come up with so far. They are far from perfect, let me tell you, but it's fun to string stuff along. :) Sara and Lauren want to learn. They have made quite a bit of jewelry themselves in the past, so they probably know as much as I do now already.

I thought I would make a few red necklaces for when I wear all of my black outfits in the wintertime. One short one, and a longer one.

These are the same necklace from different angles. It comes to right above the bust line for lack of a better landmark.

This one is a long one, to about my belly button.

This necklace has three strands and is also a longer one. I thought these beads were really beautiful.

I made this one at the class Lisa taught. Everybody there now has a pretty pink necklace. We joked that we should all wear it on the same day; to see if anybody noticed.

Some more of my favorite baby. He is turning into quite a spazz, but for anybody who knew me as a young girl, this is not a surprise.

Don't worry, he's not in trouble, he just loves to bury his head into everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything.

If Tyson could play outside all day, he would.

Our little boy loves to drive stuff around. Doesn't matter if it has wheels or not. Chair in the kitchen? Bring it on. Box of wipes? Give it to me quick, and get out of the way sister. :) Big tote of mom's decorations? Nothing better to push around my dear. Yet, all of this doesn't compare to pushing a car around on the concrete all day long. Does Tyson mind that his hands and legs are perpetually scraped up? I don't think so. I love watching him happily playing and if that means that we go through a pair of pants per-playing-session, I guess that's okay.

Here's a moment where we told Tyson we were going to go inside soon. He wasn't too happy to hear about it.

And back to driving....
