We headed over the mountain to visit my mother's parents today. We went "out to see the country", according to Tyson. We had a good time. Yummy dinner, going through old Christmas stuff in the attic, exploring the outdoors with Tyson, and listening to my Grandpa's stories. He even played the harmonica for us! I also got some good snaps of the sisters.
This is a good time, with the cooler days, to get some of the heavier work outside done. Dusty decided to give our apple tree a little "haircut", and Tyson played in his tree fort.
I put together a little album last night of my favorite books. Over the past few days I have been typing up my memories and notes about each book, and then took pictures of each cover. I kept the mini pretty simple and it will be easy to add to.
Although I know that spring has not arrived to our part of the world, and will not for some time, today felt like it was nearing closer. Tyson and I hit the park for some sun and then visited my Grandma.
I may have inherited my love for red from this lady. :) Tyson is playing with a vintage Snoopy train that my aunt unearthed awhile ago. He loves it. Shocking, I know.
Welcome to our little blog! It's a place for us to record our thoughts, ideas, random lists, and things we like. Enjoy! And leave a thought for us as well.
Watching: Downton Abbey
Wishing: for another trip to satisfy my Wander Lust
