Kudos to Meggie

So, let's just face it. Megan is braver than me. Dusty just got a new motorcycle and she decided to take lessons on how to ride it. I won't even try to start it myself. I have had bad "moving vehicles" experiences in the past and would rather be a passenger. Thought I would show the world Megan's first times on the bike.

Enjoy!

Meg is getting all ready in her stylin' helment.

Dusty is giving her the motorcycle basics. Sounds like Greek to me!

I think she is ready to go!

After a few tries, Megan has successfully reached the end of the driveway! (hee hee)

Since she wasn't ready for the road, we all traveled to the church half a block away.
This gave her lots of room to manuver.

And she's off!

Dusty had a good time imparting his wisdom to Meg.

Thanks for being such a good sport Meg! You are my hero!

Stole this from Cardine's Blog. Thanks girl!

Our comings and goings

Sorry everybody, it's been awhile since I posted. I've been busy doing other things and am finally getting around to this. Since I have a beautiful vase of flowers that Lauren helped me pick out, I thought I would share it with you!

Last Sunday we all had to get out of the house and celebrate the beautiful day! Tyson thought going for a walk would be just perfect!

On Monday Dusty decided that we should do some dutch-ovening ( is that a verb?) So, we hurried and bought the stuff, invited the Ramsays, Johnsons, and Mitchells and enjoyed a evening in our backyard. While back there I decided that I definately need to get some weeding done. Probably next week.

On Tuesday, we went swimming. Megan, Patrice, and Ayda came. It was Ayda's first time swimming. She had the cutest swimming suit and acted like she loved it, although she was shivering the whole time. She is just barely 4 months.

Yesterday, Tiff came over and we scrapbooked together. Mom, I also tried you Chicken Parm recipe and it is good!!

Today I am getting with Tiff and Patrice to make magnetic boards. I am thinking I want to do it for my crafting space. Hopefully we can find a good time for all of us with our babies. Tricky!

Here are some more pictures of us having a good time together!

Happy stuff

Here's a list of the random stuff that has been making me happy lately.

~I just noticed that my daffodil bulbs are starting to come up! I look forward to that all winter long!
~I have finally got all of the fabric, ribbons, and buttons I need for my "happy apron", as I have started calling it.
~My two patterns for a bag and cute skirts just came in the mail. Now I can get the stuff I need at JoAnn Fabric this Sat. down in St. George. Boy my sewing machine (actually my Mom's machine) is going to be busy!
~I have started buying fresh flowers to put in vases around the house. They fill me with such delight every time I look at them. Albertson's always seems to have a good deal on flowers. i.e. $5 for a dozen pink roses.
~My Columbia House movie order recently arrived so I can watch Singing in the Rain and Meet Me in St. Louis (along with many others) when I am scrapbooking.
~It has been pretty warm here, around 60 degrees, for the past couple of days. Me and Tyson can go for walks! And I can pull my capris back out.
~I get to start my tomato and cucumber seeds tomorrow. I can't believe it is already that time of year!
~Watching LOST with my family and friends always makes me happy!
~Tyson growls at me, especially when I am on the phone. It's fantastic! I love this form of communicationn from him. It's unique and very funny.
~Dusty got to come swimming with us last Saturday. And I have been swimming two times this week instead of just once like usual. Tyson is really learning to love the water!
~Cadbury eggs, the original ones, are on sale now! Time to stock up!
~I finally found some brown Sunday shoes which have been on my list for forever!
~We decided last night that we can afford to buy us Photoshop, and possibly another digital camera that I have been craving for a while, (but we're still thinking about that one).

I'm sure there's lots more, but I have to run. Tyson is cooing in his crib waiting for me to come get him. That also makes me happy!

Standard Pictures

Everybody who has had a child has taken pictures of these moments. Just thought I would share them with you.
