Lemon Buddies

*recipe from sweet Marta.

Lemon has to be one of my favorite flavors, I add it to everything, and when I saw these I thought "why haven't I heard of these before?" So Tyson and I gathered the ingredients and away we went.

Here's what you need:

Pour an entire bag of chex in a large bowl. Then, in a microwaveable bowl melt 1 bag of white chocolate chips, 1 cube of butter, the zest of two lemons, and the juice of three halves of the lemons. (I did it in 30 second increments until is stirred together).

Stir the melted goodness over the chex. Then scoop into a ziploc bag. Add the powdered sugar and shake till it's all covered. Let the mixture dry for a minute, you don't want it soggy. Then if you haven't devoured it all, store in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!

Happenings

We took the scenic drive to visit Lehman Caves located in Great Basin National Park. They were refreshingly cool and the tour was perfect for all ages!

Our family cheered my Mom and Sister in as they ran a half-marathon in Wyoming. They are champions!

Little Tyson has his first "friend" birthday party for turning five, complete with watermelon and lemonade. Perfect for a warm summer day.

Jack chewed on the ends of golf clubs as his Mommy and Daddy played a round with Grandma and Grandpa.

My sisters and I bashed around Jackson Hole, enjoying the ambiance that accompanies the Board Walk. Highly recommended at least a few times in your life.

We all showed off our Super Mario and Dr. Mario expertise in a Nintendo tournament sponsored by my brother.

The boys, minus Jack, and courtesy of Redbox, enjoyed some movies together.

Taken from my car! - the Tetons sparkling in splendor. PS.-- What were the Frenchmen thinking?

In the middle of nowhere Utah, we soaked in some Warm Springs that were crystal clear and surrounded by six feet tall reeds. Sorry, don't ask for directions. There aren't any.
Dusty's parents gave us a little picnic (and some mosquito bites) by Waterdog Lake.

Jackie demonstrated his first attempts at crawling. Watch out all small objects!

My boys spent hours and hours in the back of the car. Good thing they are such calm road-trippers!
