Almost six months

Can you believe it? I can't.

I have been continuing my album that documents my "Embark upon Motherhood" and I realized that I needed pictures of my belly.

Yesterday I typed up Tyson's birth story (somehow that hadn't yet made it into the book) and also the getting pregnant story for this baby. I got so emotional. Chalk it up to being pregnant. I read through my journal of the events and started to recall much much more and decided to add it to the book as well. It's the little/funny moments in a story that make it so memorable.

I have been feeling very very good. I can't complain, but I can say that all of the sudden I feel very pregnant. Bending over is hard. Good thing I have a little shadow around the house who is more than willing to fetch something for me.

The Graduate

Just wanted to give a shout out to my little sister who graduated with her Bachelors in Nutrition Science a few weeks ago. She's on to graduate school in August. I'm so excited for her, although we will miss her in our daily lives. :(

She may never use her degree, or use it all the time, but I'm so glad that she has one. It's such a good insurance policy for oneself. I never use mine (except for the random science question some one may ask me) but I am glad I got it. :) I just teach piano instead and I love it.

Whoa, tangent, anyways.... I am so proud of her.

Motorcycle

Dusty never ceases to amaze and surprise me. He came home about a month ago with this new bike that he had wheeled and dealed for. Such a funny guy. He is so excited to have a motorcycle again. Boys. . . .

When my family came down, everyone needed a turn around the block. The only person who didn't go was yours truly. I had a skirt on. Sorry, but I don't ride motorbikes in skirts. :)

I know it's hard to wait for your turn buddy.

A day with friends.

Since seeing these fun people, Tyson has been asking me non-stop when we can go again. I'm glad that he had so much fun, and they did have the most fun pool to boot, but I wish he could understand "maybe in a few weeks" better. :)

But seriously, we had the best time getting out of our cold weather and enjoying some warmth and good gab. You're the best Linds.

Watching Tyson in the water also reminded me that I need to get him in swimming lessons for sure this year. Our city is lacking in kid friendly pools and it shows when Tyson gets near the water. I'm hoping that lessons in the cold/deep university pool will help this somehow. :) We'll see.....
