Last week, my friend
Lisa taught a bunch of us how to make necklaces and earrings. She has made some cute stuff and I was excited to learn how. Afterwards, I made my way to Roberts (let's just say my car can practically drive itself there) and bought the necessary goods to make more of my own. Here's what I have come up with so far. They are
far from perfect, let me tell you, but it's fun to string stuff along. :) Sara and Lauren want to learn. They have made quite a bit of jewelry themselves in the past, so they probably know as much as I do now already.
I thought I would make a few red necklaces for when I wear all of my black outfits in the wintertime. One short one, and a longer one.

These are the same necklace from different angles. It comes to right above the bust line for lack of a better landmark.

This one is a long one, to about my belly button.

This necklace has three strands and is also a longer one. I thought these beads were really beautiful.

I made this one at the class Lisa taught. Everybody there now has a pretty pink necklace. We joked that we should all wear it on the same day; to see if anybody noticed.

Some more of my favorite baby. He is turning into quite a spazz, but for anybody who knew me as a young girl, this is not a surprise.

Don't worry, he's not in trouble, he just loves to bury his head into everything. And when I say everything, I mean
everything.

Ooh pretty! Love how the new blog matches too :) Must be your own personal fall colors. Is that couch in your house? Did you slipcover or something? That looks pretty too.
Darling necklaces! YOu have a great eye for this! I'm proud of you. Maybe you can make some for me, nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

ps. I'm so sorry I missed Book Club. Too much to do and so little time!
