The World is Groovy Baby

Hey everyone! Tyson here.

Just thought I'd share a little about the real me for a change. I hang out with Mom all day and sometimes she gets kinda boring, so, I've found ways to entertain myself.

I have these orange and red cars that love to drive around the house. We explore together and make sure everything's under control. Mom lets me do this as long as I want, and I've discovered that the cars drive over the couch, up the walls, and even into the toilet!! Mommy didn't think that was so great. I could tell by her face!

Since I have such amazing skills, one of them in crawling for instance, I have no intention of walking. Yet. Give me time people, give me time. I usually don't know where I am going, but I get there as fast as I can. If there was a 1K funcrawl, I would come in first for sure. I don't usually watch where I'm going though, so I've run into most of the doors around this place, and I get back at them by slamming them shut. After awhile, this isn't funny though, because Mom or Dad as to come get me back out. I crawl so fast that I'm practically a blur. Mom can't get one picture of me in focus. Hee hee

Mom takes me to the store sometimes and I like to growl at everyone we meet. I think they like it because they smile, but after awhile Mom tells me to stop and giggles to herself. Talk about mixed messages....

Since I'm a growing boy, I'm always hungry and up for a snack. I especially love my highchair. It's strapped to one of the chairs and I always try my hardest to shake it off. I'm getting closer too. I noticed that after a few times that Dad had buckled the bottom strap closed more tightly. Dang it!

Probably my favorite time of day is when Daddy gets home. When I hear the back door open, I book it as fast as I can into the kitchen, not only to show Dad how fast I can crawl, but so that he can play with me. Sometimes it's a false alarm (we have a guy that lives downstairs), but it's better to be safe than sorry.

There are all these buckets around the house. Just perfect heights for me to throw stuff in. Sometimes Mom finds the stuff I put in and takes them out before she carries the bucket outside. I don't know what she does with them out there, but it must be fun, she does it all the time. When she comes back in, she puts a new bag in the bucket so it's ready for me for throw more stuff in. I think she has missed a thing or two before.....but I'm not telling.

I also have a thing for the computer mouse. I mean, who wouldn't want to play with it? It dangles from a cord and everything. I know if Mom catches me though, I am in trouble, and I have to book it out of there pronto. I always make sure to leave the caps lock button on before I leave however.

So, come on over and visit me sometime. I have extra cars that we can drive around together, and I'll even show you how to pull all of the socks out of Daddy's sock drawer.
