Brian Regan has this joke he does about "not having time to see", and thus he never gets his eyes checked and his vision corrected. The best thing about Brian, and any comedian who is good, is that they totally ring home with their jokes. This vision spoof hit home with me. It's true. I would squint, and not be able to read the television from far away, knowing I needed to visit the eye doctor. For like, a couple of years. Well, for Christmas, my parents gave me the "gift of vision". I finally made it to the doctor and got my prescription. I am now one bespectacled sister. As someone who has never worn glasses, this is going to be an adjustment, but I am glad that I can read the stop sign, and I'm sure other drivers are as well.
A rather intellectual one of me. :) just kidding, ... no, but really... ask me anything.

Love them! I remember it took me awhile to get use to my glasses too! I always felt like I was looking through a box because I could see the frames in my vision. I need to wear them more than I do. I hope you are better at it than me! They are a good look for you!
Most fabulous dear! love them. they look really good! Congrats on the "gift of vision"! :)
I.LOVE.THEM! They look so good on you! And yes, VERY intelligent. Now you have the look to go with that smart brain of yours.
It's amazing what good vision can do for ya.
I can still remember the first time I put contacts in...I was like oh my gosh I can actually see leaves on the trees...they're not just one big green mass.
Those frames seriously look great on you!
Those are great frames for you - did you wear contacts before? You really do look so smart.
Haven't checked your blog for a while (been busy w/the new baby and the holidays), but I was reading your previous blogs to catch up. How do you know Barb? She and I go WAY back - I've known her since I was a little girl. So funny to see her pic on your blog. The world really is so small!
If anyone can rock the glasses it would be you! You look so chic' and hip!! I am lovin' them! (and also appreciate that your driving skills have improved.haha j/k)
Cute, Jess! You really look great!
Looovvve the glasses Jess! (I didn't know you were a Brian Regan fan - he's my fave.)
Good for you! The glasses look great!
That makes me laugh because I was the same way! The glasses look really good. You're lucky that they are not too thick! My lenses were too thick to do just the top frame style... :)
We're not sure that's really you! It doesn't even look like the same Jess we know! You like Brian regan? He is doing a show at tuacahn in may!
