Senses of Summer

The natural exfoliating touch of sand and water.

The sweet taste of three-year-old birthday cake.

The feeling of salty sweat that comes from good solid hard work

The glistening sound of sisters laughter

The soft, sticky feel of bubbles blown by Grandma.

The perfect scent of the summer night canyon breeze.

The gentle embrace of people who love you.

The swish  of a white dress and tap of fabulous pink shoes.

The wonder of spongy green golf course grass caressing bare feet.

The sight of two of the world's most beautiful boys all dressed up.

The loud sirens and squeals that accompany an Independence Day parade

The feeling of joy watching your baby sister be married.

(more on that later)

I love looking at your blog! You are such a classic person with exquisite taste. I love how your happiness shows through every post you do.
If that was your house that your dad and sister were painting...I want to see pictures when it's complete.
Are you going to be able to make park day on the 11th??
