Delightful Salad

Here's a little salad we whip up when we're hungry that all of us love. It's quick, easy, and full of flavor.

Main Ingredients:
  • Fresh Mozzarella cheese
  • Ripe cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh or dried basil
  • Kosher Salt
  • Fresh Lemon Juice
  • French Bread or Baguette
  • Good olive oil

First, cube the cheese and slice the tomatoes in half.


Sprinkle your chopped basil (or in my case last night, dried) in the bowl to taste. I usually do about 2 Tablespoons. Just depends on the size of your salad.


Cut your lemon in half, and juice it over the salad.

I've found that juicing it over a strainer keeps the seeds from getting in the good stuff.

Sprinkle in kosher/course salt to taste. Pour a little of the olive oil, just to coat, into the bowl.


Give your salad a quick stir. Then with your hands, break up part of your loaf of bread onto the top of the salad. Don't stir until you are ready to serve and your bread won't get all soggy.





And voila! A easy meal to devour! Bon Appetite!
