Ah, this little boy. He's my buddy. We honestly have so much fun during the day. He is an excellent shopping companion, only very rarely whining/crying. He is a good snuggler. He likes to drink hot chocolate and tea, as do I. He loves for me to take pictures of him, and then wants to look at the playback of himself.
He generally takes naps, and if not, has good quiet time where he doesn't do anything too bad. He likes to learn about cooking. He always wants to watch or help me add ingredients. He still lets me rock him and sing to him before nap and bedtime, and loves to read little stories and poems. He sings quietly to himself through out the house which sends little delight chills down my spine.
He is a very good eater and willing to try lots of good + new things. He and I laugh at the same things in movies and dance to music in the car. He's pretty conscientious about things being clean and tidy, unless friends are over to play. Then it's every man for himself. :)
He is not stingy with affection. He always has a smile and big hug for me. He's always been very friendly. He learns people's names quickly and doesn't forget them. In fact, his memory astounds me.
Sure, sometimes motherhood is rough, but I can't complain at all. I have a healthy, sweet boy I get to stay home and teach. Ironically, he teaches me so much in return, it doesn't seem like a fair trade. :)

beautiful post about your little buddy...loved reading about him and looking at his adorable pictures.
It is amazing how much they actually teach us, isn't it. I don't think people can truly understand what "becometh as a child" means unless they have children of their own to teach them. We are truly blessed.

Awwww.....he really is so cute. How do you ever tell that mug of his NO! I know I couldn't!
