Savoring Summer Part Four

This year, to ensure that we could have adequate amounts of swim time, I scheduled a day that we would go every week.  In all honesty, I want to go more, but at least once a week it will happen.

The boys LOVE it.  Tyson is really coming along in his strokes ( he just finished his last class in May) and his underwater swimming.  His goggles are the best thing that have happened to him.  :)

Jack has turned from shy-water-guy to water-get-outta-my-way-guy.  He is pretty brave in it, which means that I can't let him out of my sight for a second.

But truly, this is one of the best things that I get to do all week.  It is calming for me to hear the rush of water and see my boys learn to love swimming like I do.  It is a way for us to play together.

We show up right when it opens (hence the empty pool) and splash around.
Love this weekly tradition.
