When we got back from the Christmas break, I was itching to make some changes to the house. Of course, most of them will never happen (i.e. tear down whole back of house and add on the master bed and bath) so painting seemed like the most appropriate challenge. Luckily, Dusty helped me out and we got it done in one day. I kept thinking red walls in my mind, but after reading up on how to paint a wall red and hearing all of the horror stories I started to get a teeny bit apprehensive. One day I happened upon this Pottery Barn color "Phillipsburg Blue". The rest is history. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the outcome. I love to look at the walls and how the colors have come together.
This one was taken in the morning; the only angle that could withstand the glare.

These photos happened tonight.

Here's one of Tyson just for good measure

You've got the decorating gene :) My ideas never seem to look how I picture them. My mom is, however, 'hiring' me to redo my little sister's room so hopefully all goes well :)
I'm excited for 9 more solid days of bloggin!!
Blue is by far better than red!! Can't have too much of your personality showing:) As great as your decorating skills are--the "hanging little Dusty" is by far your best work yet:) !!!
We used to say that red rooms make you want to fight. Way to choose blue! I love it!
