Some of my new favorite things

Last night at Book Club, we discussed Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Let's just say it was two hours of some good girl talk. Everybody just seemed as taken with the book as I was. I want to recommend it to all ya'all out there as well. Loads of readers had already told me to read it, and I'm glad that I finally did! I have New Moon and Eclipse coming from Amazon in a couple of days, but one of the ladies gave me her copy of New Moon because she said she knew I couldn't wait for my copy to arrive. She was right! I finished it today, and am loving the series.

I went to Stephenie's website and she has discussed the book that will be the fourth book in the series (Breaking Dawn). Then, to my absolute delight she gave us a chapter of a new book coming out (not too soon sadly) of a companion novel to Twilight called Midnight Sun which gives the first person telling to Edward this time. OHHHH! Read it here. His side of the story is fabulous so far! Another fun thing Stephenie has done on her website is give playlists of music for each book. She says that she listened to the songs over and over as she was writing. I think this idea is great. If gives us a better idea of the correct tone that she wants the book to have. Linkin Park, for example makes the playlist quite a bit.

Since the second two books were printed in hardcover, I am ordering the first in hardcover as well, since the first publishing was only paperback. I know some of you like your sets to match as I do, so if you didn't know they were reprinting, now you do!

Another great thing I have discovered is by Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream by Elizabeth Arden. This smells so great in a down-to-earth wear it everyday of your life sort of way. I think my Mom would actually like the smell of this one. :) I got my at our local Sally's Beauty Supply.

I just finished New Moon last week. I was going to recommend it to you, too! And, AND, Laur is reading the series right now, too. Let's discuss it later. I am starting Eclipse tonight.

My dad just tonight at dinner asked if I'd read any of these. He'd just read about how this new one is passing up HP#7 on the selling-books lists and ordered them on Amazon for my sisters. It's like the planets are aligning to get me to read these books :) And so you know, I'm keeping a list of all your stuff for a day when I have more time to read. It will come back on the rotation sooner or later.
