Bungee Baby Bouncer

Probably the best baby purchase we. ever. made. Period.

Dusty found it on a whim on Craig's List before Tyson was born. I think it was shipped from Seattle. We had never seen one before, but it sounded cool. Me, being the cautious mommy I am, was hesitant to put my small baby in it. But as soon as I deemed that Tyson's neck was strong enough, we lowered him into it. And he LOVED it. At first he dangled. Then he stomped. Then he twirled. Then suddenly he was jumping, fully in control of where he was facing, turning which ever way I walked.

I loved it, because it was instantaneous delight for my boy. He was involved with all the action and could move at will.

So it was a no-brainer that when Jack was born, he would also be inducted into the Baby Bouncing Society. He spends a good deal of time jumping away, and I get to keep my sanity. It's a win-win.

At first glance you think, "What the heck is that?" " You actually put your baby in that?" Then you wonder how it works.

It attatches to the top of a door frame. This means that you can transfer it from door to door, which is especially handy.

It is very light weight. Easily stored, easily carried.

It is very sturdy. I'm not worried at all that my baby is going to come careening down onto the floor in a fateful, final jump.

As your child grows taller, you can adjust the cords to fit.

Sadly, you can't purchase them online anymore. I think it was a small-scale company that made them, and then some of them were recalled because the cording could fray (zero fraying on ours I'm happy to report), but you could have them repaired and fixed. Maybe the company just stopped the production.

Ours is still in great condition. I'm glad we found it when we did.

It truly is a miracle toy.
