Such a thoughtful reminder to slow down and go with the flow.
I need to be more engaged with my boys and remember that we only live this life once. Sometimes I have to remind myself of what I'll want to look back on and be glad I did. Certainly not watching a certain TV show. Or stressing over dinner. Or skipping any kind of enrichment activity because I am too busy with housework.
We teach others what is important to us by what we do. Do I want my kids to think that sitting at the computer is the most important thing in my life? Or that I can't put down my book to truly listen to a question? That texting is my main source of communication? No. I don't. :)
Her thoughts were such a good reminder and gave so many good ideas. Thanks, Ali!

Thanks for sharing this! I love it and it is such a good reminder as to how our examples are SO important to our children that learn, mainly, through us.
