It snowed last night in a big way ( as I'm sure any of you who live in the western part of the United States can attest to), and that has put me in the Christmas spirit in a big way. The Christmas lights are covered in snow; the trees capped with a light white dusting. Even if it does make travel a hassle and stress, it really is beautiful.
For the past few weeks one of the first things I do when I wake up in the morning is head for my computer or stereo to turn on the Christmas music. It seems that every year some new albums find their way into my home and I love it.
Here are a few of my favorites from this year.
And these I've had for awhile, but are good enough to still share :)
I particularly love the Brian Setzer Orchestra version of the Nutcracker Suite and Sleigh Ride which contains some wonderful piano accompaniment, found on the soundtrack.
This song is found on another album, but I really love it, so simple and sweet.
There are so many more wonderful albums and soundtracks out there. I would love to hear your recommendations.

okay, okay, okay...so I don't miss it until I see it! The white stuff is quite beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I had no idea that Emmy Rossum had a Christmas album. I'll have to check it out. I LOVED her in Phantom of the Opera!
