December Sixth

Today found us singing Primary Christmas songs in church, thinking about the birth of our Savior, and snuggling by the Christmas tree. Lauren stopped in for a good chat and we ate a simple lunch of potatoes and turkey.

I love the scents that surround the holidays and if I'm not baking goodies or simmering something on the stove (find it here) , I usually turn on my scentsy and let it work it's magic. My favorite smells for this season so far are: cinnamon cider, baked apple pie, and mulberry apple marsala. I still have others to try. I also like Jack Frost and Aspen Winter made by Hobble Creek.



Grandma invited us up to her house to watch the Christmas Devotional put on by the First Presidency of our church and the wonderful music of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

PS, Dusty is currently making homemade almond roca. Can I just say that he is really turning out to be first class in the kitchen!
